An item so important it’s got it’s own page!
Seriously, though, you need this item to get the “World” ending, and it can be somewhat confusing to get a hold of. You need to compile several other items over the course of your journey, and so the least I could do is make it easy for you to find!

|
1) Go to Pogrom Forest, and get the “SILVER” (Mercury):
|
|
This item is found on Pogrom Forest. All that you have to do is visit the town of Para (SNES) after beating the stage. Here, if your Reputation is high, you will meet the great monk Boltorano.
He will give you the first item that you’ll need: the “SILVER” (Mercury). You will have to come back to him much later in the game to complete this puzzle, so for now continue on, keeping this item in your back pocket.

2) Go to Shangrila, and get some clues & information:
|
|
This is optional, but it gives you some nice flavor background on who you’re looking for to help you along the way. After cleaning out the scum on Shangrila, take a trip to the town of Rusheln. Here, the townsfolk tell a story about the goddess of justice, Fellana, and how three wise ones from the temple of Shangrila were ordered down to land by the gods. They were the great monk Boltorano, the white mage Gizolfi, and the witch Tarut. Why should you care?
Well, these three missionaries are the ones that will give you the items that you need in order for Fellana to give you the tablet!

3) Go the Dalmuhd Desert, and get the “DOUN GEM” (Gem of Doun):

|
You have to wait until you’ve beaten the stage for this item. Beat the stage, and visit the hidden town of Alibard. Here, the white mage Gizolfi appears, and offers you the “DOUN GEM” (Gem of Doun). If you visit him again after he has already given you this item, and you’ll get some background information.
The 12 disciples:
He tells you that these were the 12 holy warriors who fought during the great wars.
The 12 Zodiac Stones:
He tells you that the power of the
12 disciples broke up their power into these stones, so that no one would have it until the time was right.
How to find them:
He only tells you you need the tablet to find them and doesn't give you any clues really. Cheeky monkey!

4) Go to Pogrom Forest, and trade the “SILVER” (Mercury) for the “ORB” (Olden Orb):
|
|
Come back to the Pogrom Forest and visit Para once again. Now that you have proven yourself to Boltorano by having the “DOUN GEM” (Gem of Doun) in your possession, he will take the “SILVER” (Mercury) that you have, but give you the “ORB” (Olden Orb) in return. You’re almost there! One more to go!

5) Go to Ryhan Sea, and get the “TRUE GEM” (Gem of Truth):
|
|
Take on the Ryhan Sea, and visit the hidden town of Ramoto after you’re done with the stage. The witch Tarut will show up, and provide you with the final key item, the “TRUE GEM” (Gem of Truth). After she gives you the “TRUE GEM” (Gem of Truth), Tarut will tell you about some things.
About Fellana:
Nothing you don't already know. She's the goddess of justice, and her stomping grounds are Shangrila. Basic stuff.
About the 3 stones:
She tells you that you need to bring all 3 of them to Fellana.
About the ogre battle:
Now once upon a time an old man, told me a fable!

Opps! Sorry, couldn’t help it!! This is Ogre Battle, after all! Anyway...
It was the final war, human against demon. Man won because of the 3 Sky Knights & the 12 disciples. Rashidi is planning to unseal them in return for magical powers.

6) Go to Shangrila, and trade in all three of these items for the “TABLET” (Tablet of Yaru):

|
Here’s where the fruits of your labor pay off! When you have the “DOUN GEM” (Gem of Doun), the “ORB” (Olden Orb), & the “TRUE GEM” (Gem of Truth), come to the former boss castle of Shangrila. Here, the goddess Fellana will reward you with the coveted “TABLET” (Tablet of Yaru)! This item will enable you to collect the 12 Zodiac Stones, which are
also required to get the “World” ending. You can even start picking them up right away, because there’s a stone this stage! for more info about where they are at, follow the link over to the Zodiac Stones Page.
